BAT's Badminton Club received notification that Sport England are satisfied with the way the grant was spent and organisation of the programme running alongside the grant.
November 2011: Tavistock Festival of Badminton
Working alongside Tavistock Community Sports Centre and the West Devon Community Badminton Network, BAT's Badminton Club oversaw the running of the first Tavistock Festival of Badminton. 12 pairs entered the event.
BAT's Badminton Club are the recipients of a Sport England Grant of £8,300 to be spent on equipment and promoting badminton in the Tavistock area of West Devon.
November 2010: Premier Club Status
BAT's Badminton Club achieved Badminton England Premier Club status for the second time (the first time was in 2006). With it also comes Sport England Clubmark status.
December 2010: Plymouth and District Badminton League Christmas Handicapped Tournament:
Rachael Williams (partnering Paul White from Callington BC) won the Main Event;
Alan Berry (partnering Glecy-Mae Bernaяdo from Callington BC) were runners-ups in the Plate Event
March 2011: Plymouth and District Badminton League; End of Season Tournament:
David Wright won the Men's Singles Event;
Alan Berry (Partnering Pete Regan from Callington BC) won the Men's Doubles Event;
Rachael Williams (partnering Paul White from Callington BC) won the Mixed Doubles Event

Three BAT's juniors, Tess Ashen, Celine Conley and Enya Williams played as part of the West Devon Girls Team. The girls team came 3rd overall and the boys team 8th overall. West Devon came 3rd in the 'Fair Play' trophy and 4th overall in the team events.
