Coaching -  Tournament / Match Organisation

Single Elimination Tournament

This is a purely knock-out tournament where once players loose they leave the tournament. Players will need to be seeded if the better players are not to meet each other in the early rounds of the tournament.

Double Elimination Tournament

The double elimination tournament allows a player two opportunities in the tournament. To be knocked out of the tournament they need to lose twice before they leave the tournament. It helps if players are seeded so that other players are able to play against players of different abilities rather than playing in two strong rounds and being knocked out.

Elite Tournament

An elite tournament is split up into two stages, the group stage which is run on round-robin principles and the knock-out stage where the winners (and runners-up) go forward to the knock out stages. This type of tournament requires documents from the round-robin tournament section and the elimination tournament section above.
